Multiple Casualty Incident (MCI) Virtual Simulation
Acadicus is in the process of forming an alliance of EMS organizations and municipalities interested in sponsoring further development of this multiple casualty incident (MCI) virtual simulation.
An initial proof-of-concept scene can be visited through the Acadicus Commons and will be expanded to include additional patients, animations, and other scene variables.
Live Interactive Virtual Patients
Standardized patient actors can be logged in from any location and play the role of various patients throughout the scene. The instructor can set up patients throughout the scene and configure a panel above each one with info about their condition. The student goes to each patient, gathers info, and then makes a decision regarding where the patients should be grouped.
Scene Controls
Instructors have access to a dashboard of controls, including scene audio and a Simulation Manager panel to control explosions, patient vital signs, ambulance lights, animations, and more.
