John “Pathfinder” Lester Joins Acadicus Team
We’re excited to welcome John “Pathfinder’ Lester to the Acadicus team as Director of Community and Business Development.
John has worked in software development, online communities, immersive learning and multiuser virtual worlds for over 20 years. He’s led projects and teams from startups to Fortune 100 companies, and his background includes neuroscience research, medical informatics, 3d multiuser virtual worlds and knowledge management.
John developed the first online patient support communities and immersive medical education platforms at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, and he led the development of education initiatives in Second Life at Linden Lab. He brings deep experience in cultivating online learning communities and designing multiuser 3d and VR-based experiences for education and professional development.
As Director of Community and Business Development at Acadicus, John supports and cultivates the success of our expanding community of instructors and educational content creators. His focus includes facilitating collaboration among our core customers and developing new relationships that will expand the Acadicus ecosystem of shared content and simulations.
