Multiple Casualty Incident (MCI) Virtual Simulation
Acadicus is in the process of forming an alliance of EMS organizations and municipalities interested in sponsoring further development of this multiple casualty incident (MCI) virtual simulation.
An initial proof-of-concept scene can be visited through the Acadicus Commons, and will be expanded to include additional patients, animations and other scene variables.
Live Interactive Virtual Patients
Standardized patient actors can be logged in from any location and play the role of various patients throughout the scene. The instructor can set up patients throughout the scene and configure a panel above each one with info about their condition. The student goes to each patient, gathers info, and then makes a decision for where the patient should be grouped.
Scene Controls
Instructors have access to a dashboard of controls, including scene audio and a Simulation Manager panel to control explosions, patient vital signs, ambulance lights, animations and more.
MCI Training Anytime, Anywhere
Access Acadicus in VR Mode with Oculus Rift, Windows PC Non-VR Mode, optionally screenshared to Zoom, Google Meet, Webex, etc. Learn more about hardware requirements.
Acadicus Capabilities
Unlock an all-access pass to an expansive content library, plus powerful simulation tools with Acadicus Pro.
Sponsors and Contributors (1st Edition)
Organizations can sponsor expansions of or modifications to simulation content to be included in the next edition of this content pack. Expert instructors can gain access to complimentary Acadicus Pro Space to capture and share 3D recorded demonstrations that can be accessed by other Acadicus users.
